| Admission Rules |
Admission will be confirmed only after payment of prescribed fees. For the subsequent years, students are required to register again as per the schedule declared from time to time by paying the prescribed fees. In case of failure to pay the prescribed fees before the stipulated date, a late fee of Rs.100/- per week will be charged
Educational Loan facility is available for the students of SCON.

| Admissions will be cancelled in case of |
- Not submitting the required documents in time
- Submission of fake or incorrect documents
- If it is found that the admission is taken by resorting to fraudulent means and illegal gratification for admission
- Failing to fulfill required eligibility criteria of the respective programme

| General Rules |
- Students are requested to note that any application regarding issuing of bonafide certificate, duplicate passing certificates, railways, S.T. concession forms, must be submitted at least two days in advance. This will enable the Symbiosis International University office to prepare and keep it ready for delivery
- A student is not permitted to pursue any other degree programme during the duration of the programme.
- Students are required to read the notice put on the notice board of the SCON. The SCON shall not accept any responsibility
for any loss/ damage incurred by a student owing to his/ her failure to read the notices in time.
- Every student of this programme shall abide by the rules of the Symbiosis International University. Any changes made in the rules and regulations from time to time by Symbiosis International University will be applicable when made/ modified during
the academic year

| Attendance Rules |
Every student of the programme must have an identity card. He/ She should always wear it on person while on campus and should produce it whenever called upon to do so by the concerned authorities.
Every student must have actually attended at least 75% of the total number of classes conducted by the faculty. The student will not be eligible to appear for the examination if he/she fails to put in the required attendance. 25% absence is allowed with prior permission of Principal, SCON for the following reasons:
- Leave on Medical grounds (wherever applicable)
- Leave on personal grounds
- Absence on account of participation in extra curricular activities
Note: The total number of classes missed on the grounds mentioned above should not in any case exceed 25%
In the event of illness requiring hospitalization of the student for longer periods, the authentication of the same is to be obtained from Symbiosis Centre of Health Care (SCHC). Where deemed necessary, such absence will be further condoned by 25%. Under no circumstances (even medical reasons) will a student with less than 50% attendance be allowed to appear for his/ her term end examinations. Wherever students avail of personal leave, they will be required to take prior permission from the Head of the Department. Grant of permission does not mean that the absence has been condoned for the purposes of computing attendance. Students will have to take prior permission to remain absent from any activity of the SCON. The student should be punctual in attendance and must be in his/ her seat at the commencement of lectures. Stipulated attendance, completion of assignments and passing in the internal examination are mandatory for becoming eligible for the term end examination. |

| Discipline Rules |
- The behavior of students at all times, within or outside the campus must be above board and must reflect a sense of responsibility.
- Students are required to strictly observe the uniform code prescribed. Any student found in improper uniform will be sent back even during college hours and the student will be responsible for the loss of attendance.
- Students are required to show due regard for the rights and property of the SCON.
- Any student found guilty of tampering/ damaging the property, fixtures, equipment, furniture, books, buildings, vehicles etc of the SCON shall be liable for punishment and might be expelled from the Symbiosis International University

| Rules towards Co-curricular Activities |
- Students should take active part in games, debates, dramatics and such other co-curricular activities as they are essential for the development of the student.
- Any student allowed to represent the institute in any event will not do anything which will affect the prestige and goodwill of the institute. Any student found doing so will be punished severely and decision given by the higher authorities will be binding and no justification to that effect will be entertained.
- Any advance taken by a student towards any activity of the college should be settled with the authorities within four days from the completion of the activities.
- To substantiate expenses, authentic receipts must support the statement

| Every student is required to go through Code of Conduct of SIU before joining the programme. Copy of the same is available on www.siu.edu.in |

| Examination Rules |
Students are expected to go through the booklet published by the SIU as regards Eligibility & Examination Rules.

| Refund Rules |
- If admission is cancelled before commencement of the academic programme: Rs.1000/- will be deducted and balance fees will be refunded.
- If the admission is cancelled after joining the programme and if the seat consequently falling vacant has been filled by another candidate by the last date of admission; if paid annual fees, 1/12 of the fees paid will be deducted and balance amount refunded; if the fees are paid for 1st term only, 1/6th of the fees paid will be deducted & balance amount refunded; in case of seat remaining vacant, no refund will be given after commencement of the programme.
- No refund of fees after 1month of starting the programme.
